New contract with the European Commission

Translator Scandinavia has signed another contract with the European Commission and Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union. This takes the form of a frame agreement for translation of technically specialised texts in the fields of agriculture, fisheries, science and the environment, transport, energy, telecommunications and IT, from English and French into Swedish.

Translator Scandinavia has extensive experience of translation into Swedish for EU institutions and bodies. We currently have contracts with the European Commission and Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union.
Since we signed our first contract with the European Commission in 1995, we have translated around 40 million words in a broad range of fields. The projects have covered everything from more overarching texts, such as the General Report, which sums up the EU’s activities over the course of a year, to highly specialised texts such as TSIs, that is, Technical Specifications for Interoperability in the area of railways.
